Direct Training Services has been established for over 17 years and has built up a client base that includes many small companies to both FirstGroup plc and Balfour Beatty (Edgar Allen).

All training is carried out by instructors who are registered with "The Independent Training Scheme and Register" (ITSSAR). This is now the leading body for industrial truck operator and instructor standards. Certificates issued are recognised by the Health and Safety Executive and are nationally accepted by industry.

We can design the course to match your requirements and provide a bespoke service when requested.

We can design a course to fit your needs. If you need to train at week ends or to suit your shift patterns, this does not incur any extra charges.

Obligation to Provide Basic Training - The code of practice Rider -operated lift trucks: Operator training (L117) states that:

"Employers should not allow anyone to operate, even on a very occasional basis, lift trucks with in the scope of this ACOP who have not satisfactorily completed basic training and testing as described in this ACOP, except for those undergoing such training under adequate supervision."
